Further Research - Case Studies

Now that we've decided on our idea, I decided to do some more research into short films about depression and social anxiety. Because I'm not a sufferer of either of these disorders I feel that its important that for authenticity and in order not to cause offence we either speak to people who are going through or have been through similar situations.

I also watched this BBC documentary called The Truth About Depression about depression to also try and get an insight into the disorder and how people who live with it deal with everyday life so I could try to convey some of their traits in our main character.

Talya found this music video by Kodeline entitled High Hopes, I loved it we both liked the way that the story flowed and especially the sensitivity when illustrating the guy trying to commit suicide. we decided that this would aid me when it came to writing the script and ensuring that the narrative flows.
